1.1 “Genfin” means Genfin (Pty) Ltd (“us” and “we”).
1.2 “Competition” means the Genfin Client Survey Competition detailed in these Terms and Conditions.
1.3 “Client, your or yourself” means a legal entity that currently holds an active loan or have had a loan with Genfin previously.
1.4 “Start Date” means the Start Date of the Competition at 08:00 on the 22nd of August 2024.
1.5 “Closing Date” means 23:59 on the 5th of September 2024.
1.6 “Survey” means the Survey facilitated by Genfin and which Survey you need to complete in order to enter the Competition.
1.7 “Prize” means a FIELDBAR Drinks Box worth R2,499 (approximately). Ten (10) FIELDBAR Drinks Boxes will be available as Prizes.
Please read the Terms and Conditions carefully as you will be bound by them when entering the Competition. If the Prize involves any goods provided by a third party, the Prize may be subject to the third party’s terms and conditions.
Genfin reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions.
You can only enter the Competition if you have completed the Survey.
4.1 In order to qualify for the draw to be held for the Competition, you will need to provide us with your name, surname and email address.
4.2 By completing the Survey and entering the Competition, you consent to Genfin processing your personal information for this purpose. If you do not wish to provide consent for us to process your personal information, you can still complete the Survey but should then not complete the final question. In the latter event, you will not be eligible to be entered into the draw for a Prize.
4.3 All personal information provided will be subject to Genfin’s Privacy Policy.
5.1 In order to qualify for the draw to win the Prize, you will need to complete the Survey before the Closing Date of the Competition.
5.2 Entrants should be:
5.2.1 18 Years or older
5.2.2 an exisiting or previous Genfin Client; and
5.2.3 a permanent resident of South-Africa.
5.3 You will only be able to enter this Competition once per Genfin Client. Multiple entries are not allowed.
5.4 The first ten (10) participants to successfully complete the Survey will be selected as the Prize winners.
5.5 The winner(s) of the Competition will be contacted via the email provided two (2) weeks after the Closing Date.
5.6 The winner(s) will be required to provide Genfin with a physical delivery address and a contact number for courier purposes.
5.7 Should you be a Prize winner, you cannot exchange the Prize for cash or any other object. The Prize is neither negotiable nor transferable.
5.8 Genfin may declare the Prize(s) forfeited and we may choose a new Prize winner if:
5.8.1 a Prize winner’s entry is not valid or did not qualify to enter the Competition;
5.8.2 a Prize winner has breached these Terms and Conditions or the terms of any product the Prize winner holds with us;
5.8.3 a Prize winner cannot be contacted or does not accept the Prize within three (3) business days from the date that the Prize winner was contacted about the Prize; and/or
5.8.4 a Prize winner gives up the Prize or we determine that the Prize winner has given up the Prize.
5.9 If there is a dispute in respect of these Terms and Conditions, Genfin’s decision is final and binding.
5.10 Should the Prize winner agree, Genfin may publish their name and/or photo (provided by the Prize winner) in any internal or external advertising or promotional material for twelve (12) months from the date on which the Prize winner accepts the Prize. Genfin will determine the nature and distribution of these materials. In the event the Prize winner does not provide consent to be included in the promotional material, the Prize winner will not forfeit the Prize.
5.11 Should the Prize not be available for whatever reason, Genfin reserves the right to substitute it for any other prize, object or service of a similar commercial value.
5.12 Genfin will not be responsible if your entry is not successfully submitted or a Prize winner does not successfully receive or take up the Prize for any reason, including because of a technological failure.
5.13 Genfin will not be responsible for any loss or damage which you or any third party may suffer as a result of you participating in the Competition or accepting the Prize.
5.14 If for any reason this Competition cannot be executed as planned, including, but not limited to, as a result of technological errors and/or failures, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Genfin that corrupt or affect the security, administration, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Competition, or if the Competition is compromised or becomes technically corrupted in any way, electronically or otherwise, Genfin reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify the Competition.
5.15 The following people cannot participate in the Competition:
5.15.1 directors, employees, agents or consultants of Genfin, or their immediate family members; and
5.15.2 suppliers of any goods or services under the Competition.
